Construction of seven Exhibitions – The Army Museum Žižkov, Prague

Realization includes all of the exhibition walls, almost three hundred display cases, construction of trenches, different soffits from different materials, floor terrains, decorative trowels, wagon replicas, fabrication of decorative metal elements, patinated elements, pedestals and stages, also seating furniture for all seven exhibitions on an area of 5000 square meters. The work preparations began already in year 2019. The realization itself was under way together with construction reconstruction under the command of Metrostav company. It found itself in conditions of very complicated coordination between all contractors and delivery of interior parts (lighting, audiovisual devices). Exhibition walls and fundus for every from the seven historical military exposition sperately were operatively adjusted due to the actual implementation of the premises, customized and every one in different color shade so they coresspond with rear surfaces of the built-in display cases. Also floor squeegees and terrains in every single exhibition differ by color and by surface treatment, same as patination of the metal linings of the entrances, designation of the exhibition names and dates. The realization was completed in January 2022, given sufficient advance notice, so the experts from The Army Museum had enough time for arrangement work, exhibits installation, and installation of graphic surfaces before the opening day on 28th of October 2022.
